Cerise Edits on Location
May 2008

Due to a tight schedule, Cerise Films was hired by GlobalHue to edit a WalMart summer campaign while it was being shot. The project was a pair of commercials with a barbeque setting, so Gail Gilbert worked under a canopy in the backyard of a location in Los Angeles. As each set-up was broken down, the video-assist person would hand off the video feed on a portable hard drive. Gail’s assistant would load it into one of their laptops and within a few hours, she was able to start cutting. The two main clients from WalMart were on set with them, so the creative team of GlobalHue could present cuts when they were ready. Before the dailies were even transfered from film, the spots were presented to the client and the project was a huge hit.
